July 22nd, 2024: read the book This Poison Heart, and it's about a magical Black girl who is descended from the magical poisonist Medea, and she is given an estate in the wilderness. I can't say any more because that would spoil the read, but I will say she gets a friend named Karter. Or does she? Or maybe should I not spoil everything? The latter, I think.
